Revamping Centene’s Medicaid Newsletters

Centene’s Medicaid Newsletters are informative newsletters sent out by the Medicaid health plans all across the U.S. to Medicaid members each quarter in an effort to help educate their members and share important information. 

The team I was a part of was in charge of writing and producing this content for all the health plans. We were given templates and topics to work with initially, but the content wasn’t as engaging or appealing as it could be. The creative team’s long-term goal was to improve this communication as something our members would actually find informative and look forward to.

As you can see, the final evolution was a great step forward. The design was more organized for the space and framed to help make the content easy to consume. We also improved the writing and created a better outline of articles that were put into each newsletter. It was our focus for these pieces to actually help enrich the lives of all of the health plan members and provide interesting content to boot.
