For the Love of the Land

INDIGO AG

I was a part of a three day ideation “sprint” session to help develop big branding ideas for a new client, Indigo Ag. Their biggest challenge was they needed to establish goodwill and a connection to their audience of farmers. We jammed nonstop on concepts to help elevate and redefine the Indigo Ag brand.

Within those teams I wrote and rewrote many manifestos. It was a great opportunity for me and I learned a lot about delivering under tight deadlines and crafting a story for a brand. Here are my two favorites that were presented to the client:

What Drives You

Most people don’t see farming for what it truly is. It’s not just about the plants, or the tractors. The honest work is appreciated, but not your driving factor.

No, what farming is really about…is love. The love for the land, the continuation of legacy, and the passion for putting your all into something that actually makes a difference.

And we share in that passion. We want to protect that history of unwavering care. That dedication to keeping the ground beneath your feet fertile and free, just like your ancestors did. All of it keeps bringing us back.

You know that if you give to the land, it’ll reward you. What you put in, is what you’ll get out. Sustaining that love is what drives you.

Ensuring Connection

There’s meaning in connection. And farming is all about connection. The connection between family, the ties to the land and the work to provide for the community. All of it linked in a storied history of dedicated care. And these interconnected links all add up through the cycle of sustainability.

But this isn’t anything you don’t already know. You’ve been strengthening your connections since day one. You’ve invested in the passion that gets you out of bed every morning and have the desire to see your fields continue to provide for generations to come.

We’re just giving you more to connect to, so you can ensure your tomorrow.
